What a great way to launch the new podcast. And of particular interest to this listener. I have suffered with the symptoms of essential tremors since my 40's (I'm now 71). In my case, they are familial (thanks Daddy!). For years they were a minor aggravation, but over the last 5 years or so had become truly life-affecting. I was really uncomfortable being around anyone other than family and close friends. In December, I underwent Focused Ultrasound (a shout out to the great team at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital!). It is a truly miraculous procedure, I'm looking forward to my second treatment in a few months. So it was exciting to hear Jane's enthusiasm for the procedure, and her hopes for other applications for this remarkable treatment.
