Jane Metcalfe saw the future.
Twice.
In the 1990s, she co-founded Wired magazine (and Wired Ventures), the magazine of the digital revolution. More recently, she founded neo.life (now called proto.life), the weekly newsletter of the neobiological revolution.
Jane currently serves as the chairwoman of the Human Immunome Project, a global non-profit working to decode the immune system in order to transform how we prevent, diagnose, and treat disease. She is also co-chair of the Futures Council of the Focused Ultrasound Foundation and advises various startups.
