1. The Fox News Channel’s Decision Desk now projects that former President Donald Trump has been elected president. Based on the “raw vote”, The New York Times’ “needle” says the likelihood of a Trump victory is at 95% and that he will win over 300 Electoral College votes. It seems certain Mr. Trump will win the national popular vote as well. Meanwhile, the Senate will soon be controlled by the Republican Party. The GOP may gain as many as 6 seats (total). At this writing and for another day or three, control of the U.S. House remains an open question. (Sources: foxnews.com, nytimes.com, washingtonpost.com)
