Background on Jim:

Jim joined Bridgewater in 2003 and currently serves as Senior Portfolio Strategist and Editor of the Bridgewater Daily Observations. He is also a Partner at the firm and a Director on Bridgewater's Operating Board of Directors.

During his entire tenure, Jim has partnered with Bridgewater’s CIOs and senior researchers to communicate all aspects of Bridgewater’s market, economic, and portfolio structuring content to clients and the broader external world. Jim created Bridgewater’s first podcasts, which are now a regular staple of the Bridgewater Daily Observations. Prior to the Global Financial Crisis, Jim published research on the dangers of over leveraging in the global economy and specifically the US housing sector.

Joe Klein is an award-winning journalist and the author of seven books, including the #1 best seller Primary Colors. Over a fifty-year career, he has written for numerous publications, including as a political columnist for The New Yorker and Time magazine.
